When Losing the Qualification for Pension

When you lose the qualification for pension, notification must be promptly made via telephone, etc. Note that a delay in the submission of this notification could lead to the overpayment of pension benefits and may require a refund later.

When a Person with Eligibility to Receive Pension Dies

Pension benefits are paid until the month of the death of a person with the eligibility to receive pension benefits.
When a person with the eligibility to receive pension benefits dies, the eligibility will cease. For example, if such a person dies in November, benefits for October and November are paid in December. However, since the amount which was to be paid for December cannot be provided to the deceased, the payment will be made to his/her family. This payment is called incomplete pension payment.
