Payment Suspension Requested by Eligible Persons

Pension benefits are determined upon request from an eligible person. However the person can also choose not to receive pension benefits by one's own will after the pension benefits are determined.

Note:
1. Payment suspension upon request can be retracted later, but the amount that had already been declined in the past cannot be received retroactively.
2. Unlike the deferred payment of Old-age Employees' Pension, there are no measures for additions based on the period during which the benefits were not received.
3. This may not be considered as “not receiving pension benefits” as described in the eligibility requirements for Additional Pension amount etc.
4. Not only the Employee's Pension provided by PMAC but also the Employee's Pension provided by all other implementing institutions will be suspended.
