Your Survivors’ Employees’ Pension rights will expire if either one of the following (1 to 9) applies to you.
1. You deceased.
2. You have married or you are in a de facto marriage though not officially married.
3. You have been adopted by someone who is not your lineal family member or relative or have been de fact adopted by such person though the adoption has not been officially registered.
4. Your family relationship with a deceased insured person or ex-insured person has terminated due to divorce or dissolution of adoption.
5. You were younger than 30 when your spouse deceased; you were entitled to the Survivors’ Employees’ Pension but not entitled to the Survivors’ Basic Pension, and the five-year entitlement period for the former is over.
6. You were entitled to the Survivors’ Basic Pension and the Survivors’ Employees’ Pension when your spouse deceased; your pension rights for the former expired before age 30 and more than five years have passed since the rights expired.
7. You reached March 31 of the year when you were age 18 (excluding those with Disability Grade 1 or 2)
8. You had been diagnosed with Disability Grade 1 or 2 but are no longer receiving such diagnosis (excluding those who were no longer diagnosed with Disability Grade 1 or 2 as of March 31 of the year when you were age 18).
9. You became 20 years old and you had been diagnosed with Disability Grade 1 or 2 .
