Medical treatments partly covered by insurance

Parallel Uninsured Medical Coverage

When you have a medical treatment outside the scope of health insurance coverage, you have to pay the expenses in full including a portion that should normally be covered by insurance. When you take “health care services for assessment” and “selected healthcare services”, however, your self-pay rate is 20% or 30% as for the portion to be covered by insurance.

Note:
Health care services for assessment: highly advanced medical treatment, advanced medical treatment and clinical trial

Selected healthcare services: amenity bed, reserved medical treatment, initial visit fee at a major medical institution
(Medical fees are clearly specified at each hospital)
