The guidance under our mutual aid system is available for individuals 40-74 years of age in the current fiscal year who are a PMAC member (including Voluntary Continued Insurance members) throughout the year (i.e., those who were not qualified/disqualified as our member or those whose dependents were not certified/decertified during the fiscal year) and their dependents. Those reaching age of 75 during the current fiscal year may take the guidance during the period before their 75th birthday.

In accordance with the School Health and Safety Act, schools must implement an organizational medical check-up program regularly on an annual basis at their own expense. Your examination results will be sent to PMAC by your school as your Specified Health Check-up data.
A Specified Health Check-up Voucher will be sent to you via school and member late June each year. Make a reservation with one of the medical institutions designated by PMAC. At the institution, you will be asked to present your Membership Card for Dependent and check-up voucher. The examination fee is free of charge as it is borne by PMAC.

Based on the following criteria, the examination results submitted to PMAC are classified (categorized) into the three groups of healthcare advice, motivation support, and active support.

If you are receiving medical treatment under the care of a doctor for items of potential risk, you will be classified into the group for healthcare advice.
We provide you with a healthcare booklet QUPiO Plus customized based on your Specified Health Check-up results, which includes advice on personal lifestyle and other healthcare issues in addition to your examination results. The booklet is sent by mail to your school for members and to the home address for members’ dependents, Voluntary Continued Insurance Members, and their dependents.
