Recreational facilities

Facility and accommodation fees are subsidized through agreements with recreational facilities.

Recipients

Members (including Voluntary Continued Insurance Members) and their dependents, and faculty and staff members 75 years or older

Note1:
The subsidy is available for faculty and staff members (excluding their dependents) under the medical insurance system for the elderly aged 75 or over, instead of under our short-term benefits program.

Note2:
Disqualified members, including disqualified Voluntary Continued Insurance Members, are not eligible for the subsidy even if valid for use.

How to use

At check-in, you and your accompanying members will be asked to present their Membership Card, Membership Card for Dependent, Membership Eligibility Certificate, or Welfare Facility Usage Certificate and submit the Coupons for Recreational Facilities. Please ensure to fill them out before use.

Points to note regarding the use of coupons

1. Some of our contract facilities accept a discount only and do not accept coupons. For details on the use of coupons, please refer to the list of recreational facilities.
2. Enter the name of the user of a facility (our member or their dependent) in the User Name column of the recreational facility usage coupon.
3. The fees on the list of recreational facilities may be subject to change without prior notice.
4. You must refund subsidies if coupons are improperly used (e.g. using more coupons than permitted at a facility).
5. A member and their dependent family members will be provided a total of 8 coupons for a year and a total of 16 for two years.

Period subject to the subsidy

April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023: 8 coupons

April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024: 8 coupons
