Gifts to long-term recuperated members

The gift is granted to members (including Voluntary Continued Insurance Members) if they have been hospitalized for 65 days or if the total of their 5-day or longer inpatient stays exceeds 90 days during the same fiscal year under the Inpatient Care Benefit program.

Members eligible for the program will receive a get-well gift for long-term hospitalization, and they are privileged to choose an item from the gift catalog to be sent. To apply, please specify the chosen item in the Postal Card for Get-well Gift for Long-term Hospitalization enclosed therein.

Type C members, who are not eligible for the program, are also entitled to this gift. To apply, please submit an original copy of the document evidencing their long-term hospitalization together with the Application Form for Get-well Gift for Long-term Hospitalization (for Type C members).
